Town's Post is a free local classifieds and community marketplace serving Ontario communities. You can post and browse listings for items, services, rentals, and jobs - all hyper-locally focused on your town.
Yes. Creating an account and posting a standard listing is completely free. We offer optional paid promotions (Featured, Top Ad, Urgent) to boost visibility, but these are never required.
No - you can browse all listings without an account. You need a free account to post listings, contact sellers, or access your watchlist.
Click Create Account in the top navigation. You'll need a valid email address. We'll send a confirmation email to verify your account.
Click Post Ad in the navigation bar. Select your city and category, add photos, write a description, and set your price. Your listing goes live immediately after submission.
Standard listings are active for 60 days. You can renew or repost from your account dashboard at any time.
Yes. Log in, go to My Account, and you can edit or remove any of your active listings at any time.

Click the Contact Seller or Message button on any listing to send a message through our secure in-app messaging system. We recommend keeping all communication within Town's Post.
No. Town's Post is a classifieds platform - we do not process payments, hold funds, or act as an escrow service for transactions between users. All payment arrangements are made directly between buyer and seller.
We strongly recommend meeting in a public place during daylight hours. Many Ontario communities have designated Safe Exchange Zones - public spaces (often near police stations or banks) that are monitored by cameras. Use these whenever possible.
Go to My Account > Settings > Delete Account. Or email info@townspost.ca with your request. We will process it within 30 days under PIPEDA.
Your email address is never publicly visible. Other users can only contact you through our in-app messaging system unless you choose to display a phone number on your listing.
Never. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Click the Report link on any listing or profile. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, contact us at info@townspost.ca.
Listings are removed for violating our Terms of Service, receiving multiple user reports, or being flagged by our automated systems. You'll receive an email notification. If you believe the removal was an error, contact info@townspost.ca.
